Originally training as a chef, I left it all behind to study Musical Theatre at WAAPA. After graduating, there was a three year stint in Sydney mostly spent working behind bars, alas! I returned to Perth to complete a BA in Musical Theatre and then a Grad Dip Sec in Drama and English. A year in Donnybrook was followed by 5 years of relief teaching at High Schools in Perth before being offered a job as a Music Specialist. I am currently the Music Specialist at Swan View High School and at Carson Street School. In between all of this I have been performing professionally as an actor/singer and am currently in my twelfth year as a WA Opera chorus member.
