My passion for music began in primary school in South Africa, where I learnt piano and clarinet. I received a scholarship to continue music at Perth Mod in 1999 and graduated with distinction in 2003. Since then, I have graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Music Education (hons) and a keen interest in choral ensembles. My first job, and my current workplace, is at St Mark’s Anglican Community School. I teach Year 7, 8, and 9 class music, take a Middle School Choir and a Middle School Band, as well as 6 clarinet students and the Literature component of the Year 12 Music Course. I am passionate about music teaching in the secondary classroom and look forward to participating as a member of the ASME Council.
