WILL YOU BE COUNTED IN????

Over 850 WA students from 19 schools are ready to join the Music Count Us In simultaneous singing of Come Play Your Part and Ourselves Together on the steps of the Perth Concert Hall on Thursday 2 September.

Over 500,000+  students Australia wide will be singing the same songs at 11.30amAEST which is 9.30am our time.   This year WA will be counted in.

What a fantastic way of highlighting the benefits of music education.

The Western Australian Commissioner of Police, ...Karl O'Callaghan, and his band "The Filth" along with students from Kalamunda SHS led by Peter Hind will accompany this massive choir and the effervescent Alex Morris, from WASO, will conduct.

Monika Kos, from Channel 7 will host the event and Adam Gilchrist will do the count down to 9.30am.

The Minister for Education, Dr Elizabeth Constable will introduce Lauren Tarver from Wanneroo SHS, who is one of the co-composers of Ourselves Together. Lauren will describe the fantastic experience of working with the very talented musical group that composed the songs.

Our event will be webstreamed to the Music Count Us In website so check it out on:
